Returning Admissions

We're so glad to see you again. Returning to school is a big decision, and we want to celebrate your resilience and perseverance. On our end, we want to help make your return to Â鶹AV as smooth as possible. So let's get started.

Returning Undergraduate Student

Your path back to Â鶹AV depends on your when you left Â鶹AV, and on how many semesters you've been away from Â鶹AV.

  • You are considered in good academic standing if you had a cumulative total GPA of 2.0 or higher at the end of your last semester. If you are in good standing (or on academic notice) but did not enroll at Â鶹AV for three consecutive semesters, you will need to request readmission. (If you haven't exhausted your , you may enroll in classes.)
  • Your status is previously disqualified if your GPA fell below the floor listed for your class level for two consecutive semesters. You must wait at least one semester before returning to Â鶹AV. If, while you’re away, you demonstrate academic achievements or acquired skills that support your case for a successful return to Â鶹AV, you can request readmission.

Please note:

Returning Graduate Student

Restarting your journey at Â鶹AV will depend on whether:

  • You left in good standing and have not been enrolled for three consecutive semesters or
  • You were because your cumulative GPA fell below 3.0 for two consecutive semesters.

You are considered in good standing if you had a cumulative total GPA of 3.0 or higher at the end of your last semester.

  • If you are in good standing but did not enroll at Â鶹AV for three consecutive semesters, you will need to apply for admission. Please note that you may have to complete additional graduate program admission requirements.
  • If you were previously disqualified for academic reasons, your respective graduate program will determine your readmission process.
