Admission Requirements

Successfully admitted to Â鶹AV, either as a freshman or a transfer student. Must meet all admission requirements of the Â鶹AV campus.

No qualifying requirements such as auditions are required for the BA in Dance. Once accepted to Â鶹AV BA in Dance program, students might be required to participate in a level placement assessment in order to be placed in higher-level courses that require prerequisite completion.
All Â鶹AV dancers are welcome to audition for the fall and spring dance concerts and can acquire course credit if registered in DANC 426 Choreography, DANC 427 Dance Production and/or DANC 498WC Dance Concert Modes.

Transfer Students
- You have completed at least 60 transferable units (or 90 quarter units) with a GPA of 2.0
or higher.
- You've earned a C- or better in each of the CSU General Education Courses known as the Golden Four: ...
- You are in good standing at the last college or university you attended.
