Flowchart above shows what steps an employee should take if contacted by Federal Immigration Enforcement Officers on Campus:

  • As an employee you should inform the federal immigration enforcement officer(s) that you are not obstructing or impeding any investigation but you have been instructed to contact DPS and your admistrator.
  • Do not escalate the situation or physically intervene.
  • Contact DPS at 818-677-2111 24 hours/7 days a week.
  • Or if there are concerns about reporting to DPS, contact the following for support:
    • Students-Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs, 818-677-2391, Valera Hall 310.
    • Faculty-Faculty Affairs, 818-677-2962, faculty.affairs@csun.edu, Valera Hall 305.
    • Staff-Human Resources, 818-677-6566, er@csun.edu, Valera Hall 70.

Staff from DPS and designated Âé¶¹AV Administrators will work collaboratively to support staff by providing guidance, support as needed.

Reporting through other designated staff or offices that are usually open for regular business hours from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. rather than directly contacting the department of Police Services may lead to delays in assistance.
