Soon you’ll be starting a new career. Now is a good time to take a few moments to wrap-up some important technology items before you go.

Your Âé¶¹AV User ID and Password will remain active and will allow you to view unofficial transcripts in theÌý.Ìý
✓ Âé¶¹AV Canvas ePortfolio
You will retain access to your Âé¶¹AV Canvas ePortfolio account.ÌýCanvas ePortfolioÌýis Âé¶¹AV’s electronic portfolio network for students and alumni! Showcase your work, projects and activities. Your online presence and resumé will be enhanced by a strong portfolio that you can take with you after you graduate at no cost to you.Ìý
✓ Access To Services/Software That Will Expire After Graduation

Action Items
✓ Forward Your Gmail Content
- As a Âé¶¹AV Alumni you have the ability to forward your Âé¶¹AV Email address. This forwarding feature allows you to keep using your Âé¶¹AV email for friends, family and employers along with social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram. Here are the instructions on how toÌýforward your email.Ìý
✓ Have files in myÂé¶¹AVbox?
- Before graduation, be sure to transfer any files that you have in yourÌýmyÂé¶¹AVboxÌýaccount to a personal account. It's easy to do.

Box: Go toÌýÌýand create a personal account (be sure to use an email address different than your @my.csun.edu email address). Download the files from your myÂé¶¹AVbox account to your computer, and then upload them to your new personal Box account. Alternatively, you can move your files into one folder and transfer ownership of that folder to a personal Box account.
✓ Have files in Office 365?
- If you have files in Office 365 that you want to keep, you will need to save those files to another location. With the file open, selectÌýFile > Save As. Select where you want to save the file. You can save to your computer, or another location.Ìý
✓ Have files in Adobe Creative Cloud?
If you have files in the Adobe Creative Cloud:
- Open your Creative Cloud desktop app and sign in.
- Click on the Files tab in the left-hand panel of the app.
- Select the files and folders you want to export by clicking on them.Ìý
- Once you've selected the files and folders you want to export, click the Download button at the top of the file list.
✓ Download Your Google Data
You can export and download your data for the Google products you use, for example:
- Documents
- Calendar
- Photos

✓ Export ChatGPT Conversations or History
1. Individual Conversations

Open the chat you want to keep.

Click the three dots (⋯) next to the chat title.

Select “E³æ±è´Ç°ù³Ù†or “Copy to clipboard†(you can also manually copy/paste the text).

Save to your personal email, Google Drive, or another location.
2. Entire Chat History (if available)

Go to Settings > Data Controls > Export Data.

Click “E³æ±è´Ç°ù³Ù†– you’ll receive a download link via email.

Open the ZIP file, which includes a JSON file with your chats.

- Use antivirus and anti-malware software on all of your computers. Visit theÌýSecurity SoftwareÌýpage for more information.Ìý
- Be sure you have the most recent versions of any software installed on your computer or devices. Staying current with updates ensures that you’ll have the latest security patches and code fixes to resolve potential problems.
- Beware of phishing emails, along with other scams and malware. Review ourÌýAvoid Fraudulent Email MessagesÌýpage.
✓ Prepare to enter the workforce - LinkedIn Learning
Before graduation, be sure to visitÌýLinkedIn LearningÌýto complete theÌýÌýlearning path. You'llÌýlearn how to craft a career plan, write a resume, search for a job, and nail the interview.ÌýUsers must log in with their Âé¶¹AV User ID and password to access this learning path.Ìý
