Mission

The Art Galleries at California State University, Northridge (Â鶹AV) serve the campus and larger Los Angeles area audiences through innovative contemporary art exhibitions and related programs. Our multifaceted and culturally-relevant exhibitions of professional and student artists reflect the diverse communities that make up Â鶹AV and greater Los Angeles.

As one of the few art institutions in the San Fernando Valley, Â鶹AV Art Galleries are a unique regional resource where visitors can connect in-person with art, artists, and each other.
Our Vision:
Â鶹AV Art Galleries are a vital component in students’ learning experiences and a significant contributor to the larger Los Angeles arts landscape.
Art Galleries’ exhibitions are funded in part by the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication; Instructionally Related Activities Committee; and the Arts Council for Â鶹AV.
